Terms & Conditions

Paraclete provides customer care and service coordination via two-way SMS for ongoing projects. Enrolling in text messaging is entirely optional. If you choose to opt in, you consent to receive conversational text messages from us — including questions, status updates, photos, scheduling, and logistics related to active work. Choosing not to opt in has no effect on your ability to work with us or receive our services; we will simply coordinate by phone, email, or in person instead.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting in is voluntary and is never required to do business with us, create an account, or complete any transaction. Each end user opts in individually by their own choice — by entering their mobile number and checking a standalone consent box that is unchecked by default at paraclete.tech/sms. SMS consent is collected through this dedicated, separate step only — it is never bundled into, or made a condition of, any service agreement, onboarding document, or terms acceptance. The consent box includes this disclosure:

“I agree to receive SMS text messages from Paraclete about my project(s) at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”

Consent is collected individually from each recipient before any messages are sent, and is never a condition of any purchase. This is not a purchased, rented, or public list, and opt-in data is never shared with third parties.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and then stop sending messages to that number. To rejoin, sign up again as you did originally.

Recipients are Paraclete staff, contracted field personnel, and customer project contacts who voluntarily choose to provide their mobile number and opt in to receive project-related messages. This is not a public or marketing list. Your consent to receive text messages is entirely optional and is not a condition of any purchase, service, account, or transaction. You may decline text messaging, or opt out later by replying STOP, and still receive every service we provide.

You agree to use our services and messaging only for legitimate, project-related purposes and not for any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paraclete is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or messaging program.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
